After 14 years of clinical nursing, I took a job in medical sales. I had ZERO sales experience and was told I'd never be successful, especially since I'm shy. I began in a brand new, untapped market with two hospitals. I didn't even know what a "cold call" meant. Within 3 years, I experienced continuous growth requiring additional team members, my territory grew and eventually covered 85% of the state and I was awarded President's Club for top producer.
It's been an incredible journey and through my own desire to learn everything I could about sales, leadership, partnerships, etc, I created "closing deals in red heels," as a journal and hobby.
